Training Experience: When I worked as Master Electrician at CSN, part of my job was to teach the students a lot of the practical side to lighting (reading plots, hanging rigs, focusing, programming, DMX….). After that, I worked for 4 years as the Console Training Specialist at High End Systems – giving Hog 2 and Hog 3 classes with the occasional DL2/DL3 class thrown in. In the past, I’ve also given grandMA classes for ACT Lighting.

Role at Console Cocktails: Host, writer, producer, editor, website maintenance. Basically Joe provides eye-candy and I provide everything else.

  1. Eric Koger Said,

I recently purchased a GrandMA2 Ultralight. I have been attempting to learn the basics with several of my advanced students, however, it would be better if there were training videos for the GrandMA2. I noticed, while googling, that you have produced a series of GrandMA2 training videos. Hallelujah!!!!

How do I get a copy of these videos?

BTW – I love the Console Cocktails… Joe was at FSU when I was a grad student. Great to see you guys kicking ass and having fun. Keep up the excellent work.

  2. Cat Said,

Thanks Eric! Glad we could help. I believe that MA will compile all of the MA2 videos into a training dvd like they did with the series 1 tutorials. I’m just not sure on when that will happen.
